SeaStar

SeaStar is a 6.7 metre fiberglass Rosborough RF-22 vessel that was acquired and refit by CSR in 2005. With its shallow draft, SeaStar is well suited for hydrographic and geophysical surveys in coastal, estuarine, and lake environments. The vessels compact size, maneuverability, and road transport capability make it easy and quick to deploy for any marine survey.

Unique design benefits

The vessel A-frame supports towing configurations for sidescan sonar, magnetometer, and sub-bottom profiler surveys.

A retractable over-the-side transducer mount provides an excellent deployment configuration for high resolution multibeam echosounder data acquisition.

The cabin supports a built-in workspace equipped with rack mounted computers, navigation equipment, and a variety of sensors.

SeaStar is fully trailerable, allowing for quick response and rapid mobilization throughout Eastern Canada.
