SeaQuest

SeaQuest is a 8 metre fibreglass Rosborough RF-246 vessel that was acquired and refit by CSR in 2018. The vessel is an ideal platform for conducting hydrographic and geophysical surveys, with its enclosed wheelhouse for housing workstations and navigation equipment, over-the-side transducer mounts, open back deck, and A-frame for towing equipment. The vessels shallow draft and excellent maneuverability allows for seamless data collection from the nearshore to offshore regions. SeaQuest is regularly deployed on marine surveys throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, and Ontario, and has a proven track record of acquiring high-quality data.

Unique design benefits

The vessel A-frame supports towing configurations for sidescan sonar, magnetometer, and sub-bottom profiler surveys.

A retractable over-the-side transducer mount provides an excellent deployment configuration for high resolution multibeam echosounder data acquisition.

The cabin supports a built-in workspace equipped with rack mounted computers, navigation equipment, and a variety of sensors.

SeaQuest is fully trailerable, allowing for quick response and rapid mobilization throughout Eastern Canada.
